Searching is the active process that concludes with finding what you sought. However, I feel that there is a certain rigidity that comes with this resolution, a sense of completeness and finality. ‘Searching’ (2021) is a video and audio experimentation consisting of documentation, representation and portrayal of my own Third Culture experience. Without specifying my point of departure or arrival, the work highlights the possibility of just being ‘in between’ and living in a way which brings me comfort in being constantly ‘in transit’, navigating my sense of cultural identity and belonging.
